Do you sometimes just WISH you knew HTML
so you could build your own professional website
exactly the way you imagine it?

... what if you didn't have to know code at all?

In a 90-minute live masterclass, I can teach you how to build the website of your dreams. Your skill level with web coding or graphic design doesn't matter (did you shudder a little just reading the word "coding"?). All you need to know is that you want a website, and you'll be in the right place!

In our hour and a half together, we will cover:

• The three essential parts of every great website
• How to get new visitors excited the second they land on your homepage
• Two myths you might not even realize you believe about building your own site, and why they are false
• One way to connect with your audience that many DIY'ers overlook
• Simple page layouts that encourage visitors to read your content
• ... and so much more!

If this sounds like just the training you need, here is your formal invitation!

• Wednesday, April 5
• 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
• Kittery Community Center (directions below)—plenty of free parking!
• Light refreshments will be served (crullers from Lil's Cafe!)

I'm Alexis, and I'll Be Your Hostess This Evening

Hi! I'm the mastermind behind Alexis the Greek, and I'll be the one leading your class on April 5.

I've been writing copy, taking pictures, and building websites for artists and small businesses for a decade. Creating things that are both practical and beautiful is deeply rooted in me, as I am both an artist and an essentialist at heart.

I am so excited to meet you and help you build not only the site you've created in your mind's eye, but the site that's going to work for you, to help you maintain momentum, whatever your endeavor.

This is going to be a laid-back, all-skill-levels-welcome class, so come with an open mind and plenty of questions. If you already have a site you want to workshop, that's great, too!

• Build your own amazing, pro-level website with little or no knowledge of code

• Leverage your website to grow your following and make you money (if you want it to!)

• Write the kind of copy (website text) that persuades people to take action

• Understand and create webpage layouts that flow easily without overwhelming or confusing your audience

• And so much more!

Share this event with your friends and family!

Where is the Kittery Community Center?

Very close to Portsmouth! The address is 120 Rogers Road. From Portsmouth, take the Memorial Bridge and just keep going straight. At the Kittery Traffic Circle, and take the exit right after the Dairy Queen. The Community Center is half a mile down on the left.

You can find out more about the Community Center here.

Do I need to bring my computer?

Nope! You may if you like, of course, but you will receive all the materials you need for the class when you arrive. This is a beginner training which will introduce you to principles and elements of web design, and you will not need to access the internet or any software during the class to absorb the material.

I can't make it! Will you be hosting this class again?

When my classes sell out completely, I usually try to schedule another class for those who couldn't fit into the first class. Send me an email at hello [at] alexisthegreek [dot] com if you are unable to attend or the class is sold out. This way I can be sure how many people still want to participate and can let you know when the next one is scheduled!
